Stray dogs are ONLY given 7 days in the UK to be reunited with their owners, or to secure a rescue place before they are at risk of being euthanized.
These dogs are NOT advertised to the general public so their lives depend on rescues like K9Partners to step forward. and give them that second chance of life.. We work closely with various pounds up and down the country to help any mastiff or bull breed types that are in that situation. All dogs that come into our rescue are assessed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered ( if appropriate ) prior to re-homing. Puppies and dog NOT of age for neutering will be re-homed with on a Neutering Contract, which will need to be adhered to by the potential adoptees.
Anyone interested in re-homing one of our dogs, will also be home checked and references taken from Vets to ensure that the dog will have a long and happy life with their new family.
All of our dogs come with life long rescue back up, which means the dog will never again end up in a council pound but have the security of our rescue for the rest of it's life.
The stray dog situation is so bad in the UK now that:-
3 out of every 10 staffie puppies won't live to see their 1st birthday.
45% of the rest won't reach their 3rd birthday.
In the UK one dog every minute is put to sleep
of which over 90% are staffie's or staffie x puppies.
We are a non-profit organisation and reply on the adoption fees and donations to cover the cost of running the rescue. All funds raised are used for the dogs, be it veterinary care or kenneling. We are committed 100% to the dogs in our rescue and only ever have their best interest at heart.
We are always on the look out for new foster homes and experienced dog owners that can assist us with home checks and dog assessments, if this is something you think you might be able to help us with please let us know.
